This is a very personal painting, inspired by Howard Pyle's amazing compositions. I wanted to capture a man who has ventured far and is on the verge of becoming free of his past. The eagle represents life, problems, time, many things, you can read the image freely. For me it means many things. I hope you enjoy it.
